Sermons for May “Blessing the Children”
Our theme for May is “blessing the children” and our model is Jesus himself (Lk. 18:15-17). People chided Jesus for wasting time focusing on the children and he made it abundantly clear that their perception was not honoring to God. We’re going to spend a month gazing upon Jesus and all the Scriptures which point us to the Church’s mission to children. I have a sense of urgency about this matter. I hope you will join me in being fully engaged in hearing our Lord’s teaching and living the Word of God to bless the children and our time and in our community. It will be a great adventure!
