We Celebrate Heroes of Faith from the Old Testament
Our “Walking with the Giants”
Continues as We Celebrate Heroes of Faith from the Old Testament
We have received grateful feedback for lessons learned from our current Walking with the Giants sermon series. As we move through the Fall and into Advent we continue these sermons rediscovering sacred history and applying their timeless, relevant wisdom to our challenging contemporary lives. The series continues in November with the following messages. Invite your unchurched friends and neighbors.
Sunday, November 6th – “DAVID: Developing a Heart for God” Psalm 51
Sunday, November 13th – “ELIJAH: Living Securely in an Insecure World” 1 Kings 18
Sunday, November 20th – “JEREMIAH: The Quest for Life at Its Best” Jeremiah 31:31-34
Sunday, November 27th – “ISAIAH: Trusting God in Troubled Times” Isaiah 9:2,6-7 & 53
Sunday, December 4th – “DANIEL: Spiritual Living in a Secular World” Daniel 9
“Let the peace of Christ rule in your hearts, since as members of one body you were called to peace. And be thankful. Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly as you teach and admonish one another with all wisdom, and as you sing psalms, hymns and spiritual songs with gratitude in your hearts to God. And whatever you do, whether in word or deed, do it all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father through him.” (Colossians 3:15-17)
