Our Session and Core Planning Committee have been working with architect Tim Whiteside of Johnson & Walzer Associates for six months. On September 17th we invited the congregation to come together for a presentation and dialogue regarding the progress toward developing a master plan. In 2014 one of our families had donated $10,000 designated for the development of a master plan. We were so grateful for their special gift and began to implement the process in March of this year. A twenty-year plan architectural sketch is available for viewing and discussion in the Fellowship Hall.
Also, a phase one expansion which may be considered is reflected in two drawings adjacent to the center rendering. The initial expansion would add 900 square feet for 90 more seats for worshippers and 900 square feet for several new classrooms on the lower
level. These drawings will be discussed, reviewed, and voted upon at a congregational meeting of church members later this fall.
