Two Ways This Year!

Blessing Children at Christmas in the Name of Jesus Christ

Two Ways This Year!

The Angel Tree Project and

FaithWorks Gifts for Navajo Children

The Angel Tree Project focuses on the children of an incarcerated parent.  A dad or mom in prison would love to purchase a gift for their child.  Prison Fellowship has discovered that if the Christian community steps up and helps with the gifting and delivery of gifts for these children that families of prisoners are brought closer to
Christ.  Participants adopt an angel agreeing to purchase and wrap a $15-$25 clothing or toy gift for a child. We then gather the gifts on Angel Tree Sunday and pray for the families.  We want to bring the whole family into the family of God.  This compassionate ministry touches hearts for Christ.  Hard hearts become open to God’s grace.  For more information about this opportunity,  contact coordinator Joan Stoner at 853-9827.

For several years we have helped provide gifts for Navajo Children for the FaithWorks Navajo Christmas Mission in Leupp on the reservation.  These gifts are clothing or toy or athletic equipment etc. gifts blessing the children in the Name of Christ.  The mission happens in early December and the gifts are distributed by a consecrated Santa who loves the Lord with all of his heart and loves the children.  Information sheets for appropriate gifts are available at the church.
