AZ 1.27
AZ 1.27 is a state-wide organization dedicated to impacting the foster care system in Arizona. Their approach is to train local churches on how to best recruit and care for the members of their congregation engaged in the ministry of foster care and adoption.
AZ 1.27 utilizes best practices in training churches so that they can care for their families with excellence and through Wrap Around Teams they offer every member of a congregation a means of caring for a foster or adoptive child.
AZ 1.27 also asks church members of participating congregations to go through some additional steps to ensure that they are more fully prepared to receive a child into their home and have the best chance at having a successful placement.
Church of the Resurrection partners with this great organization to host events in our local community to encourage families to get involved in the foster care efforts in Northern Arizona.
